May this email serve as an introduction as well as a reconnect with our longtime supporters in the Treasure Valley and throughout the great state of Idaho. The Guardians Foundation has been supporting veterans since its inception. This 501c3 was founded by Michael L. Shaw, U.S. Army (Retired), while in Baghdad Iraq during his voluntary deployment with the Idaho Army National Guard in 2010-2011. Since the moment of his return from duty hundreds of veterans and their family members have been served by our core capabilities of immediate housing for homeless veterans in our shelters, multiple interventions preventing families from becoming homeless, cash contributions to like-minded organizations, and our awareness campaign that is relentless in bringing the issue of homelessness amongst veterans to the public in an incredible way, reaching out to tens of thousands of people weekly.

We are very proud of our efforts, awards and the relationships that we have been able to forge over the years. Our board and staff are committed to continued success in impacting the lives of veterans in the state of Idaho.
With this in mind, we are excited to announce the expansion of a new facility outside the front gate of Mountain Home Air Force Base located at 14463 Air Base Rd., Mountain Home, ID. We know that this asset will enhance our ability to serve a greater number of individuals in the Treasure Valley and throughout Southern Idaho.
If a like-minded organization has interest in a physical presence that they would contact us for information about this opportunity we have created. We are looking forward to strengthening our current relationships as well as reaching out to create new bonds in our community.
The Guardians Foundation will be fundraising throughout Southern Idaho starting September 11, 2018. With our boots campaign (pictured below). This development campaign is extremely important to us and the veterans we serve as it pertains directly to our mission statement below.
When the private citizens, businesses, defense contractors, highway districts, cities, counties, like-minded organizations, and volunteers come together and understand what we do and our commitment, the success of this campaign can be assured.
