Joining Forces Veterans Information Calendar

VETERANS:  This calendar is yours to use to let you know of activities you as a Vet may find useful or enjoyable.  If you would like to receive notification when new events are added, current events are changed or deleted, please click here to give us your email address.  The information you provide will only be used by Joining Forces Magic Valley to enable us to notify you of calendar changes.  The list will never be made available to outside organizations.

For members of Joining Forces Magic Valley, the calendar below is designed to show every activity in the Magic Valley that pertains to veterans.  The accuracy is only as good as the sources of the information.  If you know of an event and do not see it on the calendar, please use the "Submit Event" menu item to submit your event.

    Come out and get moving on May 15 to support your Whole Health and help our Homeless Veterans.

    The Twin Falls VA CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) will be having a 2K Walk and Roll beginning at the CSI Walking Trail at 3:00 p.m. (see map). The event is free but donations of canned good items, toiletries, and socks is encouraged. See below for all of the information!

    Nestor Hapayan here—RN at the Twin Falls CBOC.  Just wanted to touch bases with you on the upcoming VA2K Walk and Roll (participation free).  This is a  yearly event to promote whole health awareness in our community/veterans.  This is also an opportunity to raise awareness for our homeless veterans- so we are asking participants (and non-participants) for donations of…

    • Canned goods
    • Toiletries
    • Socks
    • Etc..

    The date is slated for May 15th – our plan is off-site at the CSI walking trail with start of 3pm and finish at 430 pm.  I imagine setting up some tents and a sound system of some sort to make announcements and play music.
